I am totally agreed with it. There should be one day in every weak in which we should not eat meat. It will help us to control our weight as well as control the increasing consumption of meat because of which prices are going higher and higher.

Hello! I am an 8 year vegan who lives in PR! For 5 years I have been researching traditional recipes from here in PR and other Caribbean islands, and translating them to vegan, primarily with local easily-accessible foods (for the islands).

I have a few recipes up on my site http://www.carivegan.org and plan to post many more!

Besos!

I'm having fun with Tofu at the moment. I've found it has a rather odd taste on its own but its absolutely fine if mixed in properly with other ingredients.

Great post. I only made the decision to become a vegetarian a couple of weeks ago but have been finding it rather interesting figuring out new meals to cook. I'm trying to find the right balance without delving into the suppliment culture we seem to be living in. My favourite breakfast at the moment is oatmeal with raisons and dried apricots.

Not only is fiber easy to get from vegetarian foods, fiber is ONLY found in plants. It's sad how many people try to get fiber from a pill when it's so easy, fun, and delicious to just add plants to your diet.
