Banana Costume For Men (Or Women)

The banana costume is a classic for a reason, because it’s funny. This full body adult sized costume is sure to create a sensation wherever its worn. Be that an office party, neighborhood soiree, or family get together the banana costume is sure to tickle the funny bone.

An Ode To The Banana

Why do we love bananas so? Is it because they’re full of Potassium and other nutrient goodness, or is it because it’s a mystical fruit which has a shape and taste like no other.

I ask you, what is it about the banana that compels us to take it home and shower it with precious counter space. What has this fruit done to us that we use it in all sorts of baked goods and casseroles.

Why oh why has the banana taken on this other worldly status as a fruit to behold and praise. Oh the power of a yellow banana!

Funny Carrot Costume For Vegetarians

What makes your bones strong and your eyes nice and happy? Yep, carrots. So what fun would it be to don a carrot costume this October 31st. This is a funny costume and although a man is featured, this one is also nice on a female. You can wear this carrot costume at just about any function and if you’re looking for a couples costume, this one also fits the bill as your significant other can go as an asparagus or better yet as the dip. Green Grapes Costume For Halloween (Unisex)

Looking for funny or wacky food Halloween costume ideas? With Halloween coming up next month, everyone has started their search. But some prefer funny get ups and will search high and low for it. Since this is a vegetarian lifestyle blog, of course we’re going to showcase food costume ideas. Fruits and veggies galore a coming. Everything from green grapes to a ketchup bottle to onions and even corn. Oh! yeah we’re going all Jason on you this week and next, as we will be featuring a series of food costumes for your enjoyment.

Ok, first up is the Green Grapes Costume. This adult full size costume is a true classic. Cute and funny and perfect for an office type Halloween party. Well assuming you’re in the food industry. Plus it’s a guaranteed laugh!!!

7 Halloween Food Costume Ideas For Vegetarians

Here are some fun food costume ideas for Halloween. For convenience the costumes have been split into ideas for the solo partyer and then ideas for couple costumes.

For the solo Halloween enthusiast:

1.  The Jolly Green Giant
While you may prefer organic offerings to the Jolly Giant, this will always be THE poster boy of veggies.  Also makes a great family costume as you can dress the kid up as Giant Jr.

2.  Blueberry Muffin
There’s no denying this costume’s appeal.  The only hangup might be the price — it comes in at a cool $659.  Maybe some homemade crafting is in order.

3.  Vegetarian Sushi (eco friendly)
This costume is not available at any outlet, so you’ll have to craft it yourself.  Use packaging peanuts for rice and felt or other materials for the roll.  For a rough idea, check this kids’ version out.

4.  Ramen Noodles
Perfect for starving college types (or starving writers).  The costume will have to be homemade… so quality might be an issue depending on your talent and high-quality color-printing resources.

Greasy fast food and death — they just seem to go hand on hand.  This costume works on many levels. The fries can either be handmade from red and yellow felt or be ordered online. The grim reaper can also be handmade or bought at major Halloween shops.
