Yesterday I wrote about how Mimi Kirk, (the Ramona, Cali woman) won the annual sexiest over 50 contest by PETA.
Today I want to let you in on a few little known but interesting fun facts about the sexy mystery lady over 70. Read on for more on Mimi.

1. Her birthday is next month, yep she turns 71. Wanna get her a gift? Bookmark September 23rd on your calendar.
2. She eats a mostly “raw foods” diet, as it helps her with keeping arthritis at bay.
3. She has owned and sold several spa and health food companies, one as early as last year.
4. She has four kids and seven grand kids.
5. Mimi has beautiful long blonde hair.
6. She has an account on and is quite popular with Facebook, and coincidentally it was via this social media site that she won the coveted PETA title. As she relied and called upon her fans to vote her up.
7. She’s a Democart. I mean democrat. Woohoo!!!
8. She’s a big fan of farmers’ markets. And practices qui-jong. (not sure what that is, but sounds interesting)
9. She’s a grad of Hollywood Senior High. (circa 1956)
10. She’s 70. C’mon is there anything MORE interesting than that? I don’t think so.

What do you think, are you in awe of Mimi Kirk like I am? Or is this not a big deal to you, tell me below.
HUGE. She looks amazing! It’s really wonderful to hear that she feels good, too! She could really cash in on speaking engagements and classes! (My wallet’s open!)
I am in complete awe of her too. Here are a couple of other fun facts; she was on a Star Trek episode,
she stood in for Mary Tyler Moore and worked on the “Rhoda” show. All told, she appeared in hundreds of tv shows and movies in a 17 year career in hollywood. She eats an all raw diet. You find all this out
on her facebook page.
I am in awe, and proud to be a fellow veggie!
Living in the mountains and having such a healthy and active lifestyle I don’t really notice any difference in me and peers of my age group until I visit my home (southern Ontario).
I had a high school friend ask me when we ran into each other ‘wow! why don’t you have any wrinkles yet!?’
I didn’t have the heart to tell her that I use sunscreen religiously, stay out of the tanning beds, and exercise is not a big shop in the mall.
Did I mention we’re only 28?
I think I’ll keep living in the sticks, eating my veggies… hopefully I’ll be in as great of shape as Mimi in a few more decades!
Hey, Stephanie:
I’m with you, I can only hope to look half that good by the time i’m 70. Weehoo!!!
I’m 31, but most people these assume I’m about 21! I do have good genes, but I’ve also been using sunscreen since I was a teenager, and I’ve been eating a mostly vegan diet since I was about 24. When I started adding lots of greens (like green smoothies, blended veggies soups, coleslaw, etc. my skin got really clear and took on a new, healthy glow). I’ve read that greens help keep your skin firm too! Also, I know that Retin-A isn’t all natural, but it’s the only skin care product out there with proven documented results to help prevent skin aging… so, that’s worth looking into as well! I have a friend in her 50s that’s been using it every other day since she was 30, and her skin is like porcelain. She looks amazing. So, go vegan, go greens, and go Retin-A!!
Oops! Totally should have proofed that comment before hitting send!!! haha Sorry!
Ms. Kirk, was on the “DR’s ” show this past week and I was in awe. I am working towards a healthy lifestyle and from what I have been reading and you tube confirmations that VEGAN diet is the only way to go.
Dr. Oz had this gentleman on his show because his heart was very ill and Dr. Oz placed him on a complete and only complete VEGAN diet. He lost 30lbs in one month and his health is doing well. Dr. Oz says healthy on the inside will show on the outside.
Mimi you are another inspiration to me.
“And practices qui-jong’ = qi gong
Thanxs for spelling lesson, Will. Cheers!
