In another first for vegetarians and vegans, we’re happy to report a new animal-free hair coloring product has just been announced.
ACT, which is based in New york, has a new line of vegetarian hair color product which is entirely plant-based.
The hair color is formulated with very pure, natural plant dyes that enhances existing color, covers gray, and adds highlights without any harmful, synthetic chemicals or peroxide.
The ACT all natural, vegetarian and vegan hair dye is available online and at select Whole Foods stores.

Wow, now you guys just need to try it out and post a review. I’m interested, but I’m always afraid of new things like this. Fantastic idea though, and I like the little bottles.
It’s all natural, so what could go wrong? It should be the other way around, we should be afraid when someone says “hey let me drape your head in bleach and alcohol”. LOL. I hear ya, though.

That’s so true. Why do we always assume that chemically made products will work better than all natural products. Have we been so conditioned in our lifetimes that all natural makes us think – doesn’t really work?
