The king of wines, Gary V (from Wine Library,) was on the Today Show this morning to discuss four varieties of wine that spice up Valentine’s Day.
Let me first quickly say a thing or two about Gary Vaynerchuk. He is quite the charmer and is literally a walking library on WINE. He knows his stuff and has been studying and drinking wine for a long time. The video below beautifully captures the fun wine guru that Gary V is.

1. Col Del Sole Prosecco – For making up. (or breaking up) lol. A sparkly, semi-sweet wine. Under $16.
2. 2007 St. Urbans Hof Kabernett Piesporter – For honeymooners. A German reisling wine. Under $20.
3. 2005 Chateau Plain Point – For rekindling the passion. Merlot red wine. Under $26
4. 2004 Sauternes – For established couples and for those who want to get in the mood. A dessert wine. Goes great with chocolate. Under $30.

Even though it’s after Valentines day, I really like the sound of the Chateau Plain Point . Both my fiance and I love a good merlot. I will be looking out for this at my loca wine store.
