mmm…my favorite way to eat a tomato is simply sliced with salt and pepper, maybe some blue cheese crumbles, cucumber, and red onion too. Homegrown tomatoes are best for this.

Speaking of home grown tomatoes, i grew my own last Summer. They taste so much better than the store bought variety.

Blue cheese crumbles? Yummers! Nice tomato snack.

    P.S. Thanxs for visiting.

Home grown tomatoes are a lot better then store bought and its fun to grow them as well. A nice little summer project.

  4. I am actually a vegetarian but my mouth cannot stand the taste of tomatoes. It is pretty much the only veggie I don’t like. I just cannot stand the taste of them. When I heard about the salmonella outbreak a little bit inside me leaped for joy hoping that they would be banned, but alas it was only for a short while.

I like the one about watering your plants. I never knew that and was always interested in how they got cracks. Now I know, someone not keeping up on the watering.

If I do end up eating a tomato it better be in small bits so that I can barely taste them.

I like to go into the garden after work and eat a juicy ripe one (sliced), with an ice cold beer and salt. Tomatoes and beer go well together.

  7. Missy says:

Bkil: Oh yeah – beer and tomato does a body good. Ssshh – let’s not tell anyone, and keep it our little secret. lol.
