Energy Saving LED Christmas Lights

Would you like to contribute a guest article? If so, shoot Missy an email. Thanxs!My roommate and i are decorating our house for Christmas and we want to incorporate some energy-saving LED christmas lights. We searched and found a slew of LED Christmas lights online at a bulb shop.
We are putting up icicle lights, some net lights, blue lights, snowman driveway lights, and then there is the lighting of the Christmas tree. We went to our local Walgreens and Walmart, and neither carried the LED lights we were looking for. They both had battery-operated lights, but these were tiny only good enough for like a wreath.
The energy-efficient LED Christmas lights are suppose to last longer than traditional bulbs (200,000 hours vs. 1,500 hours) and they also are meant to operate at a fraction of the wattage. Which is super cool and what we want for our home. I’ve posted some pics of the LED bulbs we found.
The Griswolds and the Kranks, have nothing on the Mitchells. Hehe.

LED bulbs are the wave of the future. Unfortunately, I sell light bulbs and fixtures for a living. I do notice that every year LEDs have become more popular. They superior to CFLs, but the technology still needs more improvements. The light intesity is not there right now with LEDs.
