CommentLuv Installed, Please Thank Andy Bailey.
I have to give a shout-out to recent visitor and computer developer extraordinaire, Andy Bailey (a/k/a fiddyp) he wrote this super cool wordpress plug-in called CommentLuv.
Handsome Andy
Basically the way this wordpress plug-in works, is that when you leave me a comment, your latest blog post will be displayed in the comment box below your comment. Yep, right there in the comment box along with your comment. Check out it by leaving me a comment below.
I think this is one of the cooler add-ons to my blog, and i would love it if you please visit and thank Andy Bailey for creating it. To add CommentLuv to your own blog, just visit the plug-in page and download it.
If you need any help with it, i ‘ll be happy to help, just shoot me an email.
If you enjoyed this post, please consider to leave a comment or subscribe to the feed and get future articles delivered to your feed reader.

I don’t think you need widgets to get this to work, its just a plugin. ![]()

CommentLuv is a great idea. I wish my blogspot could have it. All blogs should have this plugin.
Another great one is so commentors can edit their comments for a few minutes after pressing the submit button - good for fixing spelling, not sure of its name.

CommentLuv is so cool. I also use a plugin called DoFollow

CommentLuv is very cool indeed. I discovered it today and will install the plugin on one of my blogs later today to see how it works in practice for me.

It’s great isn’t it? Especially if you doFollow, it gives even more link love to your fellow bloggers. I think I will install it, maybe then more people will comment on some of my better posts ![]()

Don’t forget though that doFollow means more spam in the end. It’s a good idea, but I think using standard nofollow for the links is the way, this will deter spammers in the end…
The ability to edit your post for a while after posting is a real benefit. I often find typos in my posts and it allows me to correct matters rather than this task being left for the blog owner.
I never heard about this plugin, but after reading your blog post I think I will use it too for my blog. Because it is such a great way to thank your readers for their comments.
I finally have two of my blogs using CommentLuv. It rocks.

I’ve noticed a huge difference in the number and quality of comments after I installed CommentLuv. Especially when people see I approve comments that are of value in bot information and aren’t simply one liners that want to get links back to their site.
I would encourage anyone who has a blog to seriously consider installing the CommentLuv plugin and at least consider removing the nofollow tag. Sure you might get a few spam comments, but you can always delete these instead of approving.
Remember, comments are content for your site, fresh content, and if the person leaving the comment has written something of value then it can help when the search spiders crawl your site for fresh content.

I saw another site was talking about this plugin and also one called KeywordLuv. KeywordLuv sounds pretty good, do you have an opinion on how it compares to CommentLuv? I am looking to improve the collaboration on my site through comments and think this could be a good way to do it.
Thanks

Hi,
After seeing this in operation, I may add CommentLuv to my blog as well.
The plugin sounds very intriguing too. Ultimately, the blog
webmaster can approve or deny spammish comments anyway, so
why not give them a professional look. Sounds like I will be in Andy’s
shoes and end up following his lead.
Thanks,
Terry

Sounds like a funky script and a great way to encourage people to actually leave comments!
A shame I don’t have widget compatability on my site.
