Cloned Animals Make Good Meat. WTF?
The entire premise that scientists want to create genetically engineered animals to then turn around and destroy them for meat, makes me a combination of (annie grab your gun) angry and i’m gonna hurl sick. The FDA is making a proclamation that cloned animal meat is safe to eat, wtf? we already kill 10 billion animals a year for food, isn’t that enough. Folks, we don’t need to go and create more animals, to kill them.
Oh! wait they state that “cloned animals would likely be used to copy elite breeding animals, not to create meat”. But once they get OLD and TIRED and can no longer breed, THEN they would be used for meat.
Jesus, i guess when my three cats get old and tired and can no longer take care of themselves, fend for themselves, i will just chop them up, throw them in a frying pan. (and eat them). I don’t know how destroying animals for food is better when they get old, than when they are young. How on God’s Green Earth is that better?
Do you know that it costs around $20,000 to produce ONE cloned animal.
What horrific waste and excess is that? $20,000 for ONE cow, ONE pig, ONE goat, etc. I can only imagine how many thousands of people could be fed around the globe with that kind of money.
Let’s wake up people, let’s get informed, do research and find out what the heck the private and government sectors are doing with our money and our natural resources. Let’s feed the world, people are dying from lack of food, and we are creating animals that cost $20,000 a pop. C’mon! Give me a break.

Most people can agree that animal cruelty is wrong. But, I think that the gold standard is that if we wouldn’t do something to another human based on moral grounds then it should also apply to defenseless animals.
