Recycled Laptop and Messenger Bags at Eco Handbags
As you know i blog daily at green site Keetsa, and am always up for a post on eco-friendly goodies. I just ran into Eco Handbags a Canadian online shop focusing on environmentally-friendly and recycled handbags.
They carry a full line of stylish and chic bags made from sustainable fibers including hemp, organic cotton, canvas and also use a host of recycled materials.
Take a look at this flatbag made from recycled bike inner tubes. I love it, it is rugged but in a sexy way. It features leather on the inside and bicycle tubes on the outside, an inner tube strap, and Velcro to fasten the bag shut.
The recycled inner tube bag retails for $78(cad) and is available at Eco Handbags.

What a great idea! I’m from New York, so they don’t really encourage us all that much to be “green” and recycle. But, recently, my girlfriend has encouraged me to use my own bags to bring my groceries, instead of using the plastic ones. Slowly but surely, I’m starting to notice the difference and how important these issues are.
