It is essential to sometimes focus on other bloggers who are doing their part to use their blogs as a vehicle for good in this vast vast blogosphere. As you know there are like 71 millions blogs as of last count on Technorati, and thousands are created daily. The blogging lifestyle consists of taking interest and participating in the blogs of others and forming community. With that preface, let me tell you about the Bloggers for Positive Change Award.
My good friend and green blogger, Susie over at Jolly Green Girl, has been kind enough to nominate this vegetarian blogger (yours truly) for this awesome award and i want to thank her and also pass it forward. Although Groovy Vegetarian is new, i have been blogging over at Veggie-Blog since April. Also be sure to visit Jolly Green Girl, as she writes eco-friendly tips and has good info for anyone who wants to live a more eco-friendly life.
I will now make my nomination for the next round of the BPGC Award.
I nominate:
Maki SquarePatch – recycling and reconstructing since 2006, be sure to read the great story behind this blog.
